Piaggio zip

I have 50cc zip with lv touring three years from new , 15000kms.
I intend to fit malossi sport and variator
For a couple of hills there and back. Hoping for better power and acceleration, with good reliability?

 

70cc Malossi barrel, keep everything else std.

 

Is the piaggio variator already up to the job. Considering my intended requirements?

 

The reason I ask, and thank you for your reply. Is I have bought the variator kit. I have had it less than a week and still have the receipt. I am able to return it and get a refund from the shop.
Should I return it?

 

£ 4 £ the 70cc will give you guaranteed results with all std transmission, rollers and variators are very much trial and error weights etc.
