Hey, My Piaggio Zip 2t 2005 aircooled wont start at all no matter what i think of :/ all modifications and in my signature in red at the bottom. Im going to point out that it started fine the other day and I had a puncture so it was left to sit for 3-4days and now wont start. Tried new spark plug even though mines like a week old (NGK-R BR9ES) Cleaned a rebuilt the carb with numerous jets 1-2 sizes either side of what I already had (had 74 tried 70-76) Wont start with easy start and/or on the charger at the same time I have no kick start gear is missing. Tried all throttle positions ever possible fast and slow etc. Spark plug comes out soaking wet every time, and my air box was full of petrol/2stroke so cleaned and dried it and re-fitted it. Even heated up the bore through the spark plug hole with a hair dryer to get some heat and remove excess petrol fumes/ dampness and give warmth for easier start and dried and heated spark plug. I have got a nice fresh white/blue spark. Engine just doesn't want to start all i can hear is misfiring like boop boop boop it fired a couple of times but not enough to start. Any help is greatly appreciated and im getting sooo pissed off with this ped that im tempted to just take a sledge hammer to it has a different problem every fucking day almost.
Yeah lots of compression, ive got it running now turns out the electric choke was fucked the needle had seized into the carb :/ and was flooding the carb into the airbox starving of air and from previous the engine had water in it as airbox somehow got water in it probs coz of no mudguard.
