Piaggio zip HELP!!! Wont start

Hey,
I took my 2005 A/c zip for like a mile down the road and pulled over to go shop come back out and it will not start again.
Have spent countless hours fiddling and playing still cant get it to start.
I have compression
I have fully charged battery
Spark plug is not fouled and sparks on turn over
Cleaned the carb and check float to check if sticking.

I did how ever see water on the top of the piston through spark plug hole.
So i heated with blow torch to get rid of it.
Fuel runs into engine fine plug comes out wet and inside head it combusts with a lighter.
I did notice that they day it stopped running i had rode it in hard rain.
Air filter has been cleaned as well it was all working perfectly for couple of months and just stopped working :/

It has done about 13km and i believe i could see piston ring failure before as piston was going black past the rings.
I will have polini iron 70cc sport kit soon but dont want to order it unless i can get my ped to work again bit pointless otherwise.

Any help much apreciated the specs of my ped are in my signature.

 

If it was me i would try a brand new plug....i had a problem with my typhoon 125 and the plug was sparking so thought it may be pistons...ao got new rings and before fitting i just thought id put new plug in n it decides to start...so try new plug pal...der only a couple of quid...if it dont solve problem at least u gt a spare...good luck

 

try new plug and then pure down a spoon of petrol trough your spark hole might help to see if its a carb etc problem or something to do with the rings

 

Problem solved not too sure how but it took a lot of messing around.
Ended up taking off airbox and spraying deodrant (had no easy start) into the carb whilst turning the engine over and then eventually got it to start after rebuilding the carb many times to check float jets idle air fuel mixture and they were all fine i still do not know what caused my ped not to start but its all good now same plug and everything.
