yo im having a couple of issues with my piaggio zip barrel or im just being thick i have bought a new barrel for my zip as i didnt have a key for the one it was fitted with the was only one little pin that held it in place so removed the pin put the new barrel in the lock and refitted however the problem i have now is that with the pin in place where it should be the whole lock and barrel pulls out from the bit thats in the stem, now i didnt think to see if it done this before hand im a missing a clip to stop it from coming out? or do the plastic panels stop this from happening? as i wouldnt have thought it would have anything to do with the plastic panels do to the fact there would be no need for the clip that i removed anybody have any ideas? i will try get some pics up later of what i mean cheers
heres the pics may help this is how it came and when i go to pull the key out this is what comes out and the pin is still fitted can just about see it on the edges and from the top this is the only pin i have this is what it looks like when i take it out anybody able to help me out as to why the whole lot comes out when the pins fitted, am i suppose to have more them just that one pin?
