piaggio zip 50cc big problem

    My scooter "piaggio zip 50cc" consume lots of gasoline

    Full tank = 37 miles and scooter stop

    Standard config:

    carbu 12 dellorto
    main jet 70 (new)
    and start making noise from spark plug and cdi when i exceeds 35 mph

    check the tank and pipework for leaks first. Even a slow leak will evaporate petrol. Also check the air filter is clean
