Piaggio Zip 50 2T HiD Help

I’ve bought a new hid for my zip, and I’m stuck on how to wire it up. I’m told something about I’m going to have to get run it off of another DC supply otherwise it won’t work properly? I’ve followed the diagram as best I can. Has anyone else got A HiD on their zip?

 

Do you have a multimeter?

 

Yes, I don’t know how to use one tho lol

 

Doesn't it come with it's own little black box to convert the power output?

 

It comes with this little box:

 

What wires came with the box?

 

Nothing really, just wires that connect straight to the battery and wires that connect to the old bulb socket.

 

Have you googled the manufacturer of the unit to try and get a wiring diagram?
