    good evening all,
i have bought a second hand zip 50 which i already love to bits as its my first scooter but it does have a starting problem.

when its left overnight (and its been hot the last two weeks), when i try to start it it takes a few times of turning it over to start, maybe 4 or 5. it gets to the point when the battery is struggling (new battery and spark plugs). starting with the kick start is impossible.

its been derestricted but i dont know yet to what extent but it does 60mph.

once it eventually bursts into life, it takes a good 10-20 seconds of full throttle to get it running ok, from then on it runs fine for the rest of the day.

any help or ideas would be appreciated and go easy on me, im new to these tiny things!

new choke, carb needs setting up.
Don't full throttle it from stone cold. You'll kill it very quickly
