Piaggio zip 4t cdi

    Will the piaggio zip cdi that limits the speed to 30mph still limit the speed to 30mph if i have a 80cc kit and a polini variator?

    Probably, it's rpm restricted.

    You need to cut one of the wires to de-restrict -dealer did it on mine for the previous owner.
    I'll have a check later when i get home.
    Mines an '06'.

    In my case after installing the big bore kit (top performances) the cdi still limits the top speed. I bought unrestricted CDI and the improvement was verry very big in top speed and acc. I will made some video soon and I will put it in my theme. I also install rpm meter just to be calm.
