Piaggio Zip 2T white smoke/low power

Hi guys, got a 2001 50cc 2T zip, i filled it up with petrol the other day and ever since it seems to be smoking while riding, and this is all while the engine is warm, i ride it to work which is a 20min ride and its smoking when i get there, it has also lost power when trying to accelerate from a stand still, im worried my carb may have water in it? Would it cause the loss in low end power though? Any suggestions

is it water cooled?

 

maybe the oil you're using is not good
