    Hey,
I have a 2005 Air cooled piaggio zip 2T which has a yasuni z exhaust and polini variator.
I noticed recently that when im riding flat out down the road my engine revs start to sound like some sort of dubstep sound going woooob wooob woob wob wob wob wob! But no power loss.
Its been doing that for a couple of weeks, and now when i start the bike it makes a screeching/squealing sound which gets worse as you rev and goes away after it idles for a min or 2 .

Could this be my top end going or bearings or the belt im soo confused
Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Check your belt also bearings tend to make funny noises when there fucked so might be worth checking your crank bearings

I shall check the belt soon whats the tell tail signs of needing a new belt and how can i check the bearings without spliting the crankcase or does that have to be done?

Also anyone know what is causing the woop
Woop sound could it be the cylinder because i already have piston ring failure but that was before this occurred and never bothered to fix it because i was goin to get a 70cc kit.

tyre pressure will have no affect this is when its on the stand and yeah pressures are fine they are set for the tyre on them although saying that my front tyre is in a garage for puncture repair but this was all before the puncture

and just thought i would add that the woop woop is the engine revs it oscillates so ill be riding down the road and it will sound normal like whaaaaaaaa then say i get to 30-40mph and the revs will sound like woop wooop but the woop starts slower then gets faster and sometimes just disappears but mostly just goes woop wopp fast and as soon as throttle is let off it stops making that noise. And there is no loss of power or anything like that my bike still hits around 60mph proven by the feds by doing 57mph in a 30 zone lol.

Ped fucked now anyway, wont start for shit.
Tried new spark plug even though mines like a week old (NGK-R BR9ES)
Cleaned a rebuilt the carb with numerous jets 1-2 sizes either side of what I already had (had 74 tried 70-76)
Wont start with easy start and/or on the charger at the same time I have no kick start gear is missing.
Tried all throttle positions ever possible fast and slow etc.
Spark plug comes out soaking wet every time, and my air box was full of petrol/2stroke so cleaned and dried it and re-fitted it. Even heated up the bore through the spark plug hole with a hair dryer to get some heat and remove excess petrol fumes/ dampness and give warmth for easier start and dried and heated spark plug.
I have got a nice fresh white/blue spark.

Engine just doesn't want to start all i can hear is misfiring like boop boop boop it fired a couple of times but not enough to start.

As far as i can see the float is fine it moves freely and the little valve thing appears fine and the pin is in place and everything is there anything i can do with the choke it the standard shit electric one im thinking it could be that or something up with the top end .

Turns out that water got into engine through the airbox and my choke is knackered the pin seized into the carb so was stuck on got it all running now though :) seems a bit nippier and sounds more rin ring instead of a hair dryer lol.

Still get that woop woop though :/ just confuses me im gonna get it on a dyno and see what happens and if not that im going for top end rebuild.
