So i have a piaggio x9 125 with vxr 200cc engine, I recently changed my variator to polini 9 roller sports and change the torque clutch spring, And also bought molossi drive belt with 3 clutch springs for better performance which is yet to come. My question is, After i put the new spring (blue) in the clutch area it worked super fine, but the next day my acceleration isn't that great anymore, It seems to be slow as fuck the more time goes by, Anyone know what could be the problem?
Clutch springs aren't a performance mod? They are a setup part. If you haven't made any changes that warrants making the clutch engage at a higher rpm then it's a pointless mod and will just cause problems.
So should i just put back the original variator? i mean i get more revs with the old variator, maybe all i needed was to replace some springs just to make it go smoother, could that be it?
