looking for a bit of help
recently bought a 2010 piaggio typhoon 50 ac
love the bike nice styling etc but soooooo slow
when i bought it i got a stage 6 replica exhaust with the bike, tried fitting it the other night and took my bike from 30mph at 6500 revs down to 20 mph at 4500 revs, everything else on the bike is standard apart from variator restrictor removed. have searched through countless posts in the last few days but going a bit cross eyed, so...
i've read that there is supposedly a restrictor in my new exhaust... where? i have looked in both ends and dont see any washer or restrictor looking things
and if it is not there is there possibly a lack of backpressure causing it to be slower?

    appreciate any advice

just bolted it on, guessing thats not the way!?
standard jet size is .55 or .56 according to net search what would you recommend changing 2?

    sorry bit green

Unless it is a race only exhaust, there is a restictor in it! Take it off, and put a hose up all openings, and if it hits something, in the first 3 inches, take a dremel and remove the spot welds.....and upjet 5%
