piaggio typhoon problem

    ive just put a polini sport 70 kit done about 120 miles now with new spark plug new polini high speed variator and a malossi boost bottle hebo sports exaust but started to miss fire sometimes. also it only goes about 52 max is that about right bcz i dont think it hase as much power as it should and im not sure what els to do also ones im going about 10mph the dont have enough power to lift have to go slow it doesnt realy mke much of a difference compare to when it was a 50

    you will need to set the bike up after fitting these parts have you changed the rollers and main jet at all scince you put the parts on

    no i got the rollers what i got with the variator 4.1 gr ive tried a 70 jet i got a 75 but didnt even try it i dont know what size jets to get a tall

    It's simple really. Don't fit or buy parts unless you know what you're doing. Right rant over, Have you got standard airbox ? Or open filter ? You'll need roughly 6 gram roller,Maybe 5.5, Anywhere from a 72 too a 82. Buy a box of jets. Have you fitted stronger clutch springs ? The thing about the rollers you get with the variator they're brilliant but only work if you're just using the variator and nothing else lol.

    true and i a airbox on it now i tried to put my sponge on with the 70 on the 70 it would take of fine then ones i do half throtle it would bog and when i put the 75 it would bog straight away.no but i got polini blue clutch spring to put in and the blue torque spring i might buy the pm tunning clutch tho but need to start getting my bike ready for mot :(

    75 is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to small for a open filter. My zip on a dyno is running a 118 on a 17.5ml lol.

    someone said if i put it in like a 110 im looking to blow up my bike and told me get a between 60 70

    Lol who on earth told u that ?? Open filter on my bike,70s,pipe was a 118 lol. If it's the air box on you're look at like a 72/68.something like that.

    thanks i upjet it to a 110 with the sponge is running and riding but when i put the throttle back is a bit sluggish on the take of

    / late connection dont know if i need to play with the mixture screw a little & my revs or go down a few sizes

    Does it bog down on full throttle ? if so jet's not big enough. It could be your rollers, i've got 6's 110 is still bit small, I recomend trying the 118 like i've got.

    no it dont bog ive got the 118 just nt in but just rememer you got more stuff done to your bike than mine . im going to put my 5.3 gr rollers if is not better then ill try the 118

    You've got a exhaust,70's 17.5ml and open filter ? I got that pretty much other shit don't really matter lol,

    58 without gear up :) Purely aint got a gear up as i'm running it in and i'll get too tempted lol.

    since i upjetted my bike my kick starts bin getting stiff sighn of seasin im sure is my jet is 2 big because of my jet

    It wouldn't sieze from the jet being too big ? You'd get barrel wash, It siezes when it's too small ? Pull the top off and have a look.
