OK, so one of the many problems with my Typhoon is severely pitted forks. Obviously the ideal solution is a pair of replacement Typhoon forks, but this is proving to be difficult. Looking through the forums it seems one solution is to use forks off a Runner with a lengthened stem. What I'm wondering is whether it isn't possible to use the stanchions from the Runner inside the Typhoon legs. Anybody know, please, and if so do I have to change anything else?
    Thanks

It can't be done, typhoon forks are one piece, i posted a thread on modifying forks to fit a typhoon. If you can't alter a set of runner forks, buy new ones. Scooter centre in Germany are very well priced.

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to keep my existing wheels if I go down the Runner route?

You could use the original wheel's with a bit of modding to the speedo drive but why would you want to use the original wheels? Changing them to 12 or 13" transforms the handling, better choice of tyres and look far better. I have 125 typhoons with both size wheels.
