piaggio typhoon 172 engine bushes help?

i decided to change my engine bushes expecting no problems and to be done the same day but the opposite decided to happen and now its took a few days....
the rubber bushes come out but left the metal parts stuck in the engine cases and really dont have a clue how to remove them, any easy way to remove them?

 

Are you on about the little o shape rings that the spindle goes through mate?

it'd help if you could explain how you removed it

 

you can knock them out with a socket and hammer
