ive looked everywhere but i cannot find a locking tool for a typhoon 125, im normally good at finding items online for specific things but this just seems to slide by me or there isnt one, if anybody knows where to find one a link would be helpful EDIT: Forgot to mention its the variator locking tool
Use a piston stop? usually cheaper than a variator locking tool. I believe your spark thread has a 14mm thread so this one will work, although check your spark specs before, costs £6.49 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLYWHEEL-...icle_Parts_Accessories_ET&hash=item53eeb45cc3 easy to use, remove the spark plug, screw the piston stop in, slowly start turning the variator until it stops, then crack the nut off. some people dont like them, because it 'could' damage the piston, but will take a hell of a lot of force to do so.
