Just found that the engine mounts have gone and I have been offered £250 as it is do you think i shud take it as i expect that engine mounts will cost loads to fix ?
Engine mounts i bought some for my typh from 2wheels for £25 and they wernt on special offer, fix the mounts then sell it for more...
Mounts wont cost so much but the labour will. Where are you located? How bad are your mounts now? Did you take it for an MOT or were you advised to fix these things?
Im in manchester, I am trying to sell the bike and someone came to look at it yesterday and they said they can'nt buy it as the engine mounts have gone. The engine also wobbles from side to side and seems very loose.
If you want to sort mounts you can get a step by step here Im sure, You should be able to take £500-£600 if everything else is okay after you do mounts. But might be easier to sell cheap and let someone else fix it up. I think your asking price is pretty fair?
Ive took your advice mate sold it this morning for £270 as it needs new back wheel and frount tyre and I can buy the punto I have my eye on now as I have been saving up :grin:
