i've seeen a couple post's on here to do with the series 1 engine's (smalldrum) use diffrent size crankshaft's from the series 2 and 3 engine's. i want to put a 172 cc kitt on my bike and change the crack , but from what i've read there's no point cos i cant change the crack to a better performace one cos the size's are diffrent or something ... is it possible to fit a series 2 or 3 crank in my engine...thanks :confused:cratch:

correct i skimmed through it but this caught my eye what im trying to get at is dont use second hand cranks as you dont know what they've been put through but yea you can still use aftermarket cranks in your engine

yea man tats what i was getting at but have you had a go at going on the diferent tuning sites such as scooter center and the like and it lets you stick in what bike you have
then comes up with evrything you can put on it evry site i can think of do a crank for a typhoon 125

    http://scooter-center.com/scoweb/pa..._PIAGGIO_TPH125&category2=CAT:CAT_KURBELWELLE
get part number for what you want then call up scootermatix its faster delivery and im not sre if u still do but i think they give ss'ers discounts

yours is a series 2 engine.. old shape (the ones with the small crank have a HUGE engine number area)
