I have myself a piaggio nrg power dd 2017 that i brought in june. At first I was happy with the bike but am wanting more speed now lol, the most I have got out of it is around 45mph on speedo so not too sure what actual speed it is. I have currently done a new top end rebuild about 50 miles ago, le vince racing exhaust, removed restrictors and 6.8g rollers in. I have a few friends that have the same bike and are getting 50mph stock and 60 ish with a few parts added. My next options are CDI and revs are limited to around 8000rpm and will not go no higher. Was wondering what advice people here could offer, is it worth putting a 70cc/80cc kit in it, I am only looking for around 55/60mph
Run the new cylinder in properly; that's 300 miles to be run in well before you do any more mods to it. Then re-jet the carb to suit the Leo Vince pipe, play with the roller weights to get the best take off and top end, play with the torsion spring and clutch slipper springs, more open weave filter sponge. Maybe a Malossi 70 kit and head and a new Dellorto carb
