Just was randomly looking around for some maybe bargain bikes to do in some spare time! I came across a few and decided on a zip or a NRG, a friend of mine had an NRG and I kinda liked them and no the tuning possibilty! So I paid £100 for it. got it back and left it for a couple of days, then went to look into the idiot description of "It wont start" So Pannels all off the rear! Seat out, battery out Rear mudguard off Left with a pretty much bare area to see! Not the best of pictures but wasn't feeling to good! Before! After taking it apart and some messing around! I discoverd it was full of parts -Stage six head -stage six piston -mallosi clutch -mallosi carbon reads -mallosi belt -mallosi variator -stage 6 crank -chrome zx pipe I was happy and after finding out that the starter gear wasn't engaging properly and I had to undo it a little bit and it seemed to engage but not start, so with a few kicks it started!! Then came the problem stopping it due to there beeing no keys! I had to blackbox it to kill it... SO just had a little ride after oil and fuel I need to replace the crank bearings and small end bearings, I took of the piston and bore...I wet and dryed down the piston and barrel and put it back in...I definatley need to get the bearings done! I am taking the engine out and sending it off to get the bearings done! I hope to get some ideas for colors i'm thinking white and black!
Ye it's a STR8 chrome casein, there about £70 on ebay! they say there for helping cooling, Not the best thing i have ever seen but i'm not every one else! Hopefully I'l have the engine out Saturday!! Any views so far guys?
Because the bike was sat for a very long time, water had gotten into the bore, and there was some very light rust....so I just wet and dryed it down a little just to bring it back to clean! It's only a temp fix I more than likely will be replacing the head and piston, But first I am going to take the whole engine out and send it off for the bearings to be done! then I will probally go from there!
it wouldn't of harmed the plating anyways its quite common to do this to 'bust the glaze' when fitting new rings
When people think AHHHH SAND PAPER! it's just an extremely light glaze over the ruff parts! I will be uploading some more progress ina second!
No. I know what it is. I've had barrels honed before. Just not use to people saying SANDPAPER. I'm guessing you used 1500 ? Something like that ? Which stage 6 kit is it ?
I am realy not sure what kit it is, but it's a 50's witch has been bored....I will be replacing this I think!
Any way here is saturday mornings progress! Center stand needs attention! Engine out!! easy as 1-2-3 and also Found out the Vacum is in need of beeing replaced! so onwards! I dont know what to do with the casing! I may get a standard one! Cleaned it up abit and it's pretty much brand new!! Few more pics when the engine comes back!! I sent it to my local ISH guy! so I should no either Tuesday or next week some time! I got to answer bail Monday is well so hopefully I don't get banned!! Fingers crossed!!
It isn't for sale! Nothing will be unless stated! They are on ebay in brand new condition! The casing is ok but I prefer The standard tbh! I never thought that the bearings would be so much hassel! I want something to do so I may go about cleaning it up and possibly reparing and spraying the pannels! Any color ideas people????? Whit and black????

I'm just stateing it isn't for sale that's all. and it's 46.8 stage six piston with two rings! with a 50 barrel. I know it's over done but I am aiming for standard but fresh!!
So it's a standard 50 with a stage 6 piston ? Sure it's not just a stage 6 street race ? That's the Only twin ring kit they doo.....
you sure a 50 barrel could even take having that much material removed i think its probably just a 70 kit
