Piaggio NRG MC3 Ignition Help.

Hi, I bought a Piaggio NRG MC3 04 Plate, stolen and recovered, there is no ignition barrel and i really dont know what parts i need, any help would be appreciated, and would it be pissible to put a steering lock back on it? im not too sure how it would work, i never really payed attention to how the ignition and steering lock worked on my old nrg so dont have anything to compare it to, any help would be appreciated thanks.



This is the only thing i had to start the bike, so im guessing an ignition barrel would fit onto this somehow?

 

You can buy ignition barrels for piaggio nrg mc3 they arnt to expensive either and if you get the right one the steering lock will work all the steering lock is when you turn the steering all the way to the right or which ever side your steering lock is on ther is a hole in the top of your forks and when you turn the key it flips like a piece of metal out which turns the steering lock on.

 

Infact on the third picture down you can see the hole that the steering lock goes in to

 

You'll need a new lock and barrel, and someone with a welder to weld the barrel on.

Hi, Thanks for the info guys and yeah i know u can see the hole on the 3rd pic down thats y i took it lol and that link is very usefull aswell thanks, but on his NRG he has some sort of barrell allready on.

Any thoughts? and i could probably find somebody with a welder to help me, but im struggling to see which parts go where, like does the barrel connect straight to the switch and the housing is just to make it look nice?

 

So would this be everything i need, and i dno what the steering lock would look like but is there one on here? not sure if u can tell, Thanks

 

ive got the same problem for my NRG and i dont know what i need. i have a key barrel and a ignition lock switch. can somebody give me a list of things that i need please that would be helpful.
