Hello, Thought it was only my due responsibility to make an account here after the forum helping me so many times. I can’t find the cdi unit on my moped, I think it may be this however I am unsure and don’t want to go tinkering without knowing for sure (Red Box) Don’t worry I’m not about to go cutting wires, I want to replace it with a unrestricted one.
Thank you, If i replace this with an unlimited cdi will i need to be careful about not going straight into high revs and damaging my engine? what should i aim to stay under?
The std CDI will and has alway's worked fine on a 50/70cc 's, the cdi has a rev limiter to stop over revving the engine, having used a "unlimited" cdi I fitted the std cdi and it was better suited to my engine I was running.
