Hey up chaps, my bike has now decided it wants to blow a fuse every time I turn the key in the ignition.

It started fine this morning but lost indicators, fuel gauge and rev counter on the way to work... Checked the fuse and it had blown so went to replace but it blew as soon as the key turned into the on position.

    Could it be the regulator?

check the main loom and battery live where it passes through the frame rail, it could have worn through and earthed causing the fuse to blow

if you just wanted to bodge it you could always put some copper wire round your fuse... it wont blow up then :L

    A BIG FUCKIN NO!

it'll melt the loom in hidden places and can cause a fire

I think I'll just go down the standard route and look and repair.... No need for cowboy copper wire

Well fingers crossed didn't work, I've stuck a universal relay on for the time being until my piaggio relay comes and it didn't work.....
The wiring is all fine and intact, battery is fully charged, regulator was fitted brand new today, all electrical connectors are fine.

    What else could it be?
