right here is my problem, I have build the engine up from nothing, polini cranks, airsal 70cc kit, 21mm dellorto carb basically the lot, but before that 70s kit I had a stage 6 sport pro on there and fucked it completely, I fitted a airsal kit I had which was good condition now its got some rediculous tapping noise coming from the bore, Ive been told its piston slap where the piston could be in the wrong way where I had to guess where the exhaust arrow pointed as there wasn't one on the top of the piston, now I just want to know a plain and simple yes or no tbh, or exactly what is wrong with it, any ideas people?! You've adjusted the main jet after you replaced the cylinder right? Have you removed the spark plug yet and checked the colour? It is very unlikely that you put the piston in the other way around, because if you had, your piston rings would have been gone right away. Is it possible to somehow record the sound? Peace, D
