hi all. my little bro has an nrg 50 the thing is really nippy top end. the guy i brought it off said it had a 70kit but he didnt seem to know alot so i didnt even listen to him

if its possible it has a 70 kit. whats the best basic mods for it

its running a 12mm carb with standard airbox and 50 main jet so its fine but if you thrash it down a hill it runs out of fuel and just coasts

what is the standard jet in a 17.5mm carb off a runner 50. would a runner 50 main jet be sufficient for a 70 to keep him on the road. we can always tinker afterwards

on the 50s we used to have we used to use 5.5 gram rollers. the scoot is fitter with a gianelli pipe not a reverse. will these rollers be too light or will they be ok.

we want to keep it as standard as possible. its not great on and off the throttle so i want to speed it up around town a little once it starts revving it flies. it sits about 8k revs when accelerating which isnt out of the powerband. just needs a kick up the arse a 12mm with standard jet wont be helping haha

    any advice appreciated

if its an AC bike. and a polini sports or similar. all my mates used around a 68 jet in a 17.5 for the 70 kit. ;)
