Hi new to scooters(not bikes though) have just bought my son the above titled scooter, has a de restricted carb and ginelli exhaust. It runs fine and tops out circa 37mph, however, off the line seems to take a lot of effort. It did have a mallosi roller kit but the previous owner couldn't get it to run correctly so put that part back to standard. Is this normal performance for something like this or would re fitting the apparently uprated clutch springs and lighter weights help things (be gentle as my terminolgy/knowledge may not be spot on)
Lighter rollers will give you better acceleration. I'm pretty sure there are some guides here about it all. Have a look around the site
