I decided to remove my rear hub the other day as I will be putting new bearings on the wheel shaft, drive shaft and replacing the carrier bearing on the CV cover. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't encounter any seized bolts or worn washers and also check the oil seals. I noticed that its an open bearing on the driveshaft, Some ads have a sealed bearing and some an open one, any advice on which one I should get. although I think replacing like for like would be best. also if I should get a C3 bearing or not
