    evening all

So my zenith is up and running and on the road but there is clearly jetting issues. The standard carb was 12mm with 74 main jet I currently have 19mm carb with 92 main jet and open filter (needle clip is at the top)

    My set up is

Stage6 pro sport kit (still running in)
    Stage6 pro sport exhaust
Stage6 variator and matching torque spring
    Malossi delta clutch set up

The issue I'm having is bogging down and abit of backfiring

I started at a 96 main jet and would just big and cut out

    Anybody able to help?

Heres the thing, even with like a 120jet you should get it to idle.
Main jet is just for the last eighth of throttle pretty much.
    What filter are you using?

    But if an update

Found my vacuum fuel tape to be constantly open which I have since replaced and found my air/fuel screw only 1/2 turn out which I have set following instructions online. The needle clip position is 2nd from bottom (only have 4 options)

I had a 96 main jet and on wide open throttle it would bog then back fire out the exhaust with a flame.

I have a malossi plastic cone filter which comes with the cover

I don't have idle problems it only seems to have full throttle issues and only when the engine has got hot

Maybe too lean? Just thinking its when its hot.....
    Hmmm....
Try going either up or down a jet by 1 size.

Will try 99 today see what it's like just seems quite high

Could wrong squish cause the same problem?

If your squish is too tight you will get pinking and knocking.
Too loose it will just be boggy through all the revs

Only bogs then back fires at top end when warm

I found a broken main earth which I have fixed and I still have the issue

Once it bogs and backfires once it is near on not rideable

Could it be bogging do to being too rich and the backfire is from unburnt fuel?

Wondering if it could be that I used higher octane fuel causing the issue

    Bit of an update

Tried normal fuel and it's been fine no back fire or bogging

But is abit spluttery but can't work out if that means rich or lean
