Hi I have just bought a Peugeot Sum Up 125 (2008). Whilst giving it a good clean i found this (please see pictures) under the floor pan. A hose joins it to the cylinder head and the other end is open ended via a short hose. It is empty inside. What is it and is it needed? Thanks in advance
It's part of the emissions set up, just block it off at head or get a new piece of pipe on cylinder head and block it off if it's easier. It won't hurt the engine at all and it should be quieter !
