right, where do i start ,well it was running one day then cut out and struggled to start so i charger the battery and then refused to start all together , the starter is making a whining noise cross with a buzzing sound ,, took the cover off where the belt is and it was all turning round so it carnt be broke otherwise it wouldnt turn the bendix gears and the variator fan pulley ,, took the spark plug out and couldnt get a spark ,, now i dont know if its the ht lead thats knackerd or the spark plug , the cdi unit or just the starter its self and am i right in thinking that if the cdi's gone the starter wont spin as fast as if it was working propperly if that makes sence because of somthing thats in the cdi that must tell it how fast to spin for it to start

Its not just the CDI that controlls the spark. The stator plate also has the timing in it and tells the bike to start. I know this because MINE has the SAME PROBLEM. Its so annoying because ive replaced the cdi and spark plug and ht lead ETC etc. and still no spark. so im going to test my stator tomorow and see what my 600 pound volt meter sais. If you had an NRG i could of sent you the workshop manual but unfortunetly i do not have one for a speedfight. sorry mate. IF i get mine working i will let you know straight away. Might help you aswell. Im also going to check my startor motor, Im not sure if that would cause it to not spark but i might aswell check aye :) Good luck
