Basically, a few things, my scooter only does 43mph max on the flat, and also doesnt get any faster downhill, would this mean its still partly restricted'? If not, what else could it be? It's got a sports pipe but i'm not sure about the variator plate.

Also, if i'm travelling at anything over 30, and i slow down to around 20 to take a corner or just slow down, when i pull back off it goes really slow, as if it hasnt changed back down a gear, then i've got to wait a while for it to build itself back upto the speed again, and then it accelerates quickly,

any ideas what could be doing that? I've been told flat spots in my rollers but i'm not sure, don't want to be pulling my engine apart for someething that could be fine, cheers

Vivacity A/C 2002, i do have some new rollers and a malossi variator to put on, but i'm just going to try the new rollers first, havent yet had the engine apart to do it, i haven't cleaned my carb but that's something i could do with doing anyway, and the pipe, god knows, it had a standard one on but i ended up blowing a hole in it so bought a sports one off a mate, don't know what brand or anything it is, and it's not got a stamp on to show a brand either, i know they all look similar but do you think someone could possibly give me a clue as to what it is if i took a picture?
    thanks,
