petrol (High fuel consumption)

why is my piaggio nrg mc3 drinking soo much petrol???
i did have a tnt air filter on it and took that off and fitted standard air box on.
but my ped is still drinking soo much petrol!! why is that??
is it a problem with piaggio's?

urm... the bike came with the tnt on it.. so i dont no if he upjetted it..
shall i put tnt back on?

 

The carb was probably upjetted to suit the TNT filter...

if you put the std box back on you"ll have to downjet again...which will of course mean better fuel economy

But check inside your carb 1st and see what jets in there!!!

 

so shall i put the tnt back on?? so then when i change the back tyre i can do it all at 1 time instead of all in little bits????????

 

Thakey, just see what jets in there, do a plug chop and downjet a few sizes.

It's probably been upjetted for the TNT filter as Dave said.
