Well mate, as my haynes said i tested mine by shorting the circuit to determine whether or not its the wiring or the sender thats faulty. To do this you need to take your underseat storage out, unplug the sender and get a piece of wire and connect two of the 3 points together. (cant remember which sorry but you have only 3 combinations) If the gauge goes up, its not your wiring thats shagged. this's as far as i've got anyway :beer:
