Ped broke down need ideas of things to check

I was on the way home in a little bit of drizzly rain LOL.. and it just bogged and went slow like 30?? I stopped at traffic lights and it just bogged out and wouldnt move the wheel wouldnt??

Any ideas of things to check

70cc 2extrne
hebo air filter
90 jet
125 carb

All will help =]]]

 

water in carb would be the obvious one

 

Oh yea I just put a bigger manifold on well a new one cos my old was split.. same size I think. Malossi one.

as minor said, its water in the carb. seriously people, if you must ride your scooters in the rain, put the airbox back on.

 

i get away with an open filter on the zip as the rear part of the fairing stops rain from getting to it so i dont get no problems with the open filter.

 

If its done what my 2extreme kits just done, the gasket may have gone. cos mine just bogged and whenever i try to give it more throttle, it wud just bog more. then it cut out.

Checked earlier and the gaskets managed to melt itself to the barrel.

This kits given me nothing but problems..

Thought I had sorted everything and took it up the road, bogged after like 2 miles and wudnt turn off.

Gaskets melted and barrels scored again....WTF is going on with my ped.

these things happen mate, could of happend on any kit.
ive been through it all aswell, and the most embarassing thing is you end up wasting so much time and money on it when you could have stuck with a 50 and been out with your mates. made me feel sick inside lol

I had exactly the same problem, I have a standard airbox on.

Turned out it was water in the HT cap and a knackered spark plug.
