http://www.specialistpaints.com/product.php?p=chromacoat-paint http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PURPLE-PASSIO..._Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint?hash=item29fe00430f Chromacoat is easy to apply and can even be applied by a airbrush. For best results use a Black base coat but using different colours will give you a real custom effect. Chromacoat can also mixed with our other product Candy, spectracoat, Sparkle, flip paint etc.. •Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.) •Apply 2-3 coats of Base coat leaving 10-15 minutes between coats. •Mix Chromacoat 2-1 with D-Thinner and stir well. •Apply Chromacoat 3-5 coats depending on the effect you desire. Leave 10-15 minutes between coats. (Always spray test penals before spraying you product or project) •Apply Deception Clearcoat for a Real Deep Gloss
pearl is a base colour, then a tinted clear contaning the pearl, then a hell of alot of clear.. its hardly ever dpone right and ether ends up looking tacky or stripey. not an easy job thats for sure, especially silver/white/cream bases...altho these show it off the best. put bluntly, your not gonna be doing it at home.. if you do manage it it wont look verry good, better off with a heavy flake metalic colour with some tinted clear over the top.. gives a similar look and ALOT easier to do.
yeh i was looking at doing this, but decided against it in the end... definatley something a proffessional should do not a DIY job.
