hello, basically jut a quick question about paypal. i have been offered 500 pounds for my laptop on gumtree. and he has offered immidiate payment via paypal...which i didnt have so i made an account last night, but i dont know if i am able to use it straight away?

so i was wondering if mabye someone could pay like a pound into it for me? then if it works i can send it straight back theoretically?

i just dont want someone to send 500 and it ends up not working...cheers for any help guys

oh and one more thing...if the guy sends 500 pounds into my paypal account how long until i can withdraw it from my bank in cash? as its for a new engine for my car so you can understand i want it out and spent on an engine ASAP lol

 

also if there not a confirmed pay pal address owner they can Switch the payment back aka Cancel it read up mate and i heard a lot off Scams over on ebay and paypal with no Verified pay pal accounts

just happend to my mate with his ps3. person sent him the money threw paypal he sent the ps3 then the bloke cancelled the payment or something (wasnt pay alot off attention) and now he dont have a penny to show for his ps3 wich is all the way in taiwann or somewhere now. even had the cheek to send him an e-mail sayin scammed!!

Ill take u there to delivery....tell him we can deliver for 500 ....if the guy is in the uk that is.

 

i wouldn't bother if he wants to pay by paypal and pickup

make him transfer it to a bank and pay in cash.. if he says he ant got a bank account then therefore he's not verified and shouldn't be trusted anyway.

quite a clever scam, he will claim you never sent it... which you cant prove you didnt you can only claim he picked it up, how can you prove it was him who picked it up etc

 

don't bother fucking around with all the pay pall shit, i'm sure thers alot of people that will buy it for cash j... hint hint
