paiting the runner

    wat sort of plastic r runner panels and wat sort of primer am i goin to need i am spraying it black with hi fleck of silver cheers lol

    i aint i am geting the shop t do it but i am goin to pick the paint and i am goin to spray the primer myself but the shop want to no wat sort of plastic r the panels made out of as they recon they r fyber glass

    they are fibreglass.

    and for primer i dont care what no one says halfords is the best for me

    once lightly sanded after the final coat they are smooth as fuck

    goes well with black aswell

    i dont want to spay it out of a can i am goin to put it in the spray gan so i can get a goo9d smooth finsh

    im sure you can buy tins of priper from haforlds aswell, as opposed to cans

    on ebay theres trade pots of paint, trade quality trade prices... check their feedback for reassurace

    and dont buy a cheap spray gun, it wont work as well as a good one

    you can get the same finish of cans to out of a gun if you do it right. it will never be perfect out of a gun or can at home or in the shed though as pros use special techniques to make the paint adhere perfectly at proper tempretures, always use pre-paint betwen coats aswell, and a tack cloth

    painting is 90% preparation so make sure you have a good working clean area first before you start slapping the coats on and wasting money

    your gun should be fine, just makes ure the paint is mixed properly and evenly, vaccuum your work area / dust before working otherwise dirt and dust will blow all over your nice new finish

    and if the final layers go on thick use thinly applied t-cut to blend / flatten the paint in

    i sparyed my aerox panels myself and they turned out fair mint. i'll get sum piks up of it.. and it was a can job.

    its all in the prep.. :D

    i cudnt get them scratches out so i just left em in.. dun the whole bike now though.. ill show u 2moz..

    i know, i couldn't sand em out.. they were worse before. it was fraineys fukin fault.. its a nice scooter aswell, but he ruined it and know its down to me to get it lookin presentable agen... 'who ya gona call FUJBUSTERS'' :w00t:

    i reckon stickers will do it. :w00t: the bike dont have all of them stupid white sponser stickers all over it now.. ive gone for 'the sleeper' look n pulled em all off.

    no it ok shiney cheers any way but i am goin to primer it frist and then i am goin to ride round like that for a couple of wekks first just in case i come of it it might be a bit of a hade full taking that i ride a 70

    leave it till after winter, so if u do come off it will only ruin your old paint.. :nerd:

    i aint got old paint they r sanded and i am waiting to pick up sum new panels
