right just quick.. they should be powdercoated altho they can be painted.. they will flake if painted alot quicker than powdercoat altho you can prevent this.

most wheels are painted wiht fuck all prep, if you strip the wheel back to bare metal with nitromaus then etch prime, then red oxide then paint they last a GOOD while.. altho this costs more than powdercoating..

powdercoating is around 40 a wheel.. this includes ALL the prep so its a scabby wheel to them, 40 quid an there spankin. by far the best option.

    hope this helped

    Yep as minor described.

On my old runner, the wheels were sprayed professionally with the panels and they were perfect.

On my project runner, I got 2 wheels, 2 shocks and 2 footrest hangers done for £80. Price will vary, I sent my wheels in bare metal. Could be between £25-£40 a wheel.

Don't think about spraying them yourself.

depends on what you want to pay at the end of the day and how much you care

well no it doesent, as if you spend a tenner on 2 cans of colour and blast it on it will last all of a month or two.. maybe more if you babysit it. if your spraying properly itl cost you 30 quid in paint/chemicals and then you got the time you actually take doing it.. powdercoat lasts 10+ years hassel free if its kept relativly clean/not nocked about, even then it doesent flake the same as paint. if its black you want you can get powdercoat done verry cheap as its a common colour an can be bungged in wiht any old job they happen to be doing. can have both wheels done for cheap if you just ask about.. or spend hours prepping and painting wheels that loose there finnish in a tenth of the time
