painting flip paint effect with cans

    iv been reading up alot on the hole flip paint scene and apparently the paint work by blocking different spectrums of light from different angle. but iv heard you can paint an effect similar with cans by painting one direction with a base coat then the other way with a thin top coat of the neaxt colour .is this true should i flat it in between colours should i flat it before lacquer im guessing there should be no flatting other than primer.ne one no oat on the subject

    Worth a try on a random panel??

    Halfords have got a range of flip paint cans but never seen them used.

    have they sik iv never seen em tbh i want light a yellow and green colour like a yellow creamy met and thin layer of the green i had on the zip .at worse ill end up with a yellowy green lol .just thought someone may have tryed it

    what ever coulre you paint on the top, put it on veryyyy thin too much will cover our base coat

    yh do you think i should go lighter colour underneath or on top
