I have a 70cc MHR rep on a Aircooled Minarelli. Here's the prob:
All of my mods are listed in my siggy below for reference.
Q.- All the way through the throttle range, the bike is over-revving.
    I'm using:
    4.7gram rollers.
    Malossi Red contra spring
My clutch is set at ~7600 RPM
*note this is an O/R kit if it matters

I put in heavier rollers and it solved the problem partially until the rollers were to heavy and it slowed the bike down. Could there be another problem other than rollers that is making me over-rev. Pulleys out of line? Belt slip? exc.......

I have the belt that came with the O/R. Of course it is Malossi, the same type I never had any luck with before the O/R.

Where does the MHR rep make its power?

Well, I am getting grooves in my vario face that makes me think I'm still getting the belt slip.

I know I have the right belt. So what could be the problem?

    Try a weaker contra spring...

i bought a polini contra spring set of 2...a white 1 and a blue 1...

I fitted the white spring 1st and with a little tweak of the rollers found an improvement over stock!!

so i think to my self...if thats how good the weaker of the 2 springs is then hows my scoot gonna shift with the stiffer blue spring!!!

It was terrible...the revs went sky high and the scoot went slower...
Basically it felt as if the belt was shifting too slowly on the pulley...loads of revs and shit acceleration :D

Right. I'm using the Malossi red spring right now, but I have the Malossi yellow in the garage.
    I'll try it out.
