Severe Ligament and muscle damage to my foot apparantly and sparked out by my own knee lol they thought I'd broke my heel but 4 xrays later they still don't know so maybe longer than 2 weeks, slipped off a roof trying to save my Mrs cat slid down and held onto tiles for aslong as I could but just had to let go knee smashed me in the face upon impact so didn really know what was going on a first then the cat jumped off. I don't know how but I caught it threw it in the house closed the door and collapsed on the floor 4hours at a&e and sent home on crutches to await a call ? Feeling sorry for myself but getting treated like a king by the Mrs, ideal few days off work too I'd say I was quite lucky standard size house so long way for 15 stone to land nurse said very lucky and to be fair I do feel lucky could have been worse but no riding scoot gutted tbh
I know what a broken heel feels like, I had to have my entire left foot pinned and plated back in '96, and then 3 years ago it had to be done again. So now i only have 3 plates but even more pins............no, correction; 3 plates, 30 pins, 4 big f**k off screws. But at least i can still walk, not properly, and running is hilarious to say the least, and the pain is bearable now, so i'm grateful.
Cheers for reply lads I'm fine bit sore this morning can see the funny side to it story for the grankids lol
Cats fine mate, nurses were laughing at me trying to explain that cats can jump from a lot higher than humans, and she would have been fine I caught her anyway so not a scratch on her defo one of my nine lifes lost tho haha
Well this poses the question whats 15 stone and don't bounce lol d Joking aside it could have been a lot worse, you might not have caught the cat and it could have landed on your knackers
