    You'll be fine bud.

    Dont worry about riding again, you wont have to give it up. there's people out there riding with missing limbs.
    Me and Scubabiker are walking medical wonders and we still somehow ride. Take your time, dont rush into things and as mark said, dont strain the stitches..

    You'll no doubt encounter a few of those 'hang on a minute,can't do that anymore'moments - that's what the old grey matter's for.;).,for figuring ways around what your dealing with.....Where there's a will-there's a way.:).....

    my joints dislocate without me knowing, and my organs can fail at any time.... still doesnt stop me riding, riding is living, everything else is just waiting to ride....
    best of luck and hope you have a speedy recovery.
    when i had a knee op 1st time a day later i had some mad chest pain, scared the shit out of me, turned out to be back pain but because of the pain killers i thought it was my chest!

    Hey folks - underwent a radical prostatectomy last Friday morning by the "da vinci " robot method - basically keyhole surgery - was discharged from hospital the following day and have now spent a week at home recuperating - got an appointment with my consultant on 21 January 2016 who hopefully will give me the all clear

    my last op was keyhole (appendix was swallon) and about a week later, a random stitch poked out of my body! it was nowhere near any of the insisions! freaked me out so much! glad to here you are making a quick recovery
