ONLY gone and sodded my carb up

just a little RANT ive just been un doing the float boat bowl on my dellorto 17.5 carb when the flat head screw driver slipped and put a whole in the float bowl,,,,man im megga peed of know.......



do we have a rant section one here at (could be handy )

That metal or plastic?

 

its a plastic casing but thing is were the whole is that plastic seems thinner than the rest of the casing to..... BUT ive got to go and fetch one today from midland scooters NOT as cheep as i would of liked but i need the thing fast and cant wait for pedparts to deliver as need to get bike sorted for work Monday and its booked in the garage for Friday

 

Theres always duct tape lol

 

dident think that would work with petrol,,,,plus bet it wouldn't be permanent and knowing my look would come of while im out onit and be stranded with a big fuel leek if not worse lmao

 

hahahaha he asked if it was metal ,,,clearly not....and ive payed a 10 er for the bowl i know ped parts sell them for around 8 quid is tho also getting the standard air box tomorrow and sodding the sponge filter off..​

 

Could easily have been sprayed black......

 

it will be now as this paint looks like primer and i dont like it so will be sprayed blac tomoz lol....
