Now, this may sound like I'm sticking the stick in to many users on here, I'm not, and if I offend, I'll apologise now, sorry...

How $hit are Chinese scooters, I never had much dealing with a Chinese scoot, but, my boss said to me "you like scooters don't you, have a look at my nephews will you? " ok I said, why not, now this horrible crimson coloured scooter ( I'd rather ride the menstral cycle) is a Bt49qt-9, a rather taty 57 plate plate, 11000 miles tax and tested since 11/12, he put it in the back of someone's car, broke a few panels up front, tried getting new ones, failed miserably lost interest and has been sitting in the back garden since jan this year, will get photos on here, I've condemned it, and definitely wouldn't let my boy out on it, bits hanging off it, death trap.

So if you happen to be offered a cheap chinky scoot? Don't, if your budget is tight, do yourself a massive favour, buy a older scooter from a recognised brand, I'd rather have a 10 year old honda, or Yamaha than a brand new chinky scoot, it's such a false economy, build quality is truly terrible, un lacquered alloy rims that go white with alkaline rot the second you take you eyes off them, rust rust and more rust, they say the Iron Lady is dead, she is, she's gently rotting in my garage .

Oh I will, it is such a shame, but it is truly awful, I might take the plastics off it and rat it, as now ive been handed the gauntlet of getting rid.

After Googling the name (if you can call it that, I should just say 'the jumble of letters and numbers') I recognised the ghastly looking thing.
I've seen a black one about where I live, and the moron who owns it has ballsed around with the baffles, it just sounds like an extremely long baby fart going past (very slowly).
I feel embarrassed for him. Very embarrassed.
I also found out that you can get these objects (don't deserve to be called scooters) for £499 brand new.
Considering the vendors of these OBJECTS will be making atleast 50%+ profit on them, they're probably made for like £100... Scary stuff.

I took the variator to pieces, my mate over the road said it looked exactly like his old speedfighter, had a strange sensor thing on the clutch, with a wire that looks like a loop at the end, well the wire had been cut near the variator, looks like when someone opened the variator for what ever reason, it wasn't routed properly, hence the cut, the belt is well, well past it, cord and oily rubber everywhere, and the rollers had a flat spot, now I'm not to sure but the variator rear plate needed me to break out the bearing puller to remove, engineers fit perhaps? The aprilia is a dodle to remove, held on to the crank by using a great spline system, the boys at minerelli know how to make an engine. The boys at china, while using the same basic system, quality is ashameably poor, everything iron has surface rust, like someone dipped it in hot chocolate powder, including the semi seized kickstart mech, which when re-assembled, still got stuck, starter motor? No clicky, I recon the sealed chinky batterie is flatter than a very flat thing, and true the petrol sender told me there was enough to get me to the garage, but the dead state of the engine told me otherwise, when I can be arsed, I'm going to see if we get a spark after a night on the charge... Promise I will get pics up.

If its a pug, you have:D, pretty sure Peugeot don't actually build scooters, they may assemble them, mate over the road had a speedfighter, said it was exactly the same engine, different name on it, the chinky says sonic or something on the variator cover.

It's quite a small ped, the vivacity has fair presence compared to this, little 10" wheels, I will post pics when I can be arsed to drag my ass out and have another fettle, not fired it up yet, battery is dead, charged it, no good, typical really, what a sorry scooter it really is.
