correct me if im wrong but i was told when ever fixing anything on a car motorbike or scooter/moped when refitting old or new orings say to fuel injectors or say moped carbs (like floatbowl etc) to put some motoroil on them first (maybe 2 stroke for scooters i guess) also heard use silicone oil (but doesnt that contaminate petrol?) whats your thoughts on this guys cheers
so do you always smear a lil 2 stroke oil on say when you rebuild a carb (like float bowl rubber gasket etc) ??? cheers
