When I turn the key on the oil light comes on, when I removed the oil line from the carb none dropped out. Is that normal or does it mean there is a blockage? There's is plenty of oil in I have topped it up.
Does the oil tube have oil in or do you mean its empty? If it is you need to bleed the oil pump. I used a drill on the back of the pump for 5 mins an now its fine
It seems empty but there's plenty in the tank do there must be a blockage. I'll try the drill thing, if that doesn't work should I replace the oil pump or is there a way of cleaning it out?
Itll probs be gunged up 2 stroke in the bottom of the tank. If its the pipe from the oil pump to the carb theres a bleed screw on the pump. Tgen the drills for the pump to the carb
their may be oil in the pipe, but as said it wont just leak out if you unplug it. you need to first bleed the pump via the screw on the pump until 2 stroke flows out. then do that up and pop a drill on the back of the pump and run it at full speed until oil slowly comes out the end of the tube. it wont run out fast as a drill at full speed is like a 2 stroke on idle
It took th piss for me haha 5 mins of the drill on full blast it ran out of battery before half the pipe was filled haa
