Anyone know what size of socket / spanner fits the sump nut on a Gilera DNA 125?

    I know its bigger than a 22mm and smaller than a 32mm.

Need to buy one to fit and dont wana have to buy a whole set for one socket / spanner.

It's 24 mm, don't over tighten when you refit it!

Any suggestions on how to get the oil filter off?

Cant find a tool in my box that comes close to the size of the slot on the front.

I use pipe grips, swan neck pliers, whatever you want to call them. When you refit new filter, fill it with new oil (5-40) fully synthetic engine oil. Only fit it hand tight and I fit a jubilee clip round the filter and butt it up to the engine case so it can't unscrew!

    Cheers man.

Havent got any swan neck pliers, ill invest in a set tomorow.

Yea Im used to changing them on cars so I normally just hand tighten them. With all the car ones ive replaced though its had a hex end on it for putting a socket or spanner over, this one has some wierd screwdriver shaped slot which Im not used to.

Cant see any way of fitting a jubilee clip on it though, not with the shape of the mounting area.
