    I have a Chinese 50cc scoot (139QMB).
Basically, I put in a 70cc kit so I changed the cylinder and the piston + rings. After the swap, whenever I start my ped up it burns oil for a while, but then seems to be fine after either leaving it idle for 10 minutes or riding it around normally. It was blowing lots of smoke out this morning so I undid the oil dipstick thingy, and the oil was spitting out everywhere. I'm assuming that this means my oil piston rings are dodgy, but can anyone help?

you shouldnt take the filler off when its running! its either rings are not sealing so well or the stem seals are leaking, but my money is on the rings being lined up wrong, the QMB motors smoke a bit anyway, its normal for them but if its a lot of smoke i would be worried
