    Hey guys !
my scooter is SYM Joyride 2011 evo, i work on my bike and replace it's oil every 1,000 km
i make an oil change every week or so.
on my service manual there is no certain API grade mentioned but they advise the 10W40 grade as for the viscosity

i'm currently paying so much money for those oil changes, recently went to a car shop and found this
nice 10W40 oil from KIXX, it's written API SL and "G" on it. seems to be good enough
    what's your opinion?

    * btw changing the oil after each 1k is written in the service manual, since its a scooter with non filter, theres only a filter
to catch big grids off the engine and that's why you need to change the oil more often. i make about 120 kilometers per day
and i can say after 1k my oil defentaliy needs a replacement !
i've used untill now liqui moly oil with the jaso2 api, semi syntethic

Fantastic. Keep it up I say. If only all car, scooter and motorcycle owners were so diligent! Saves you money in the long run and good selling point. Small capacity engines work very hard with such small capacities of oil. No brainer IMO. Ps how many miles has your sym done? I looked up the API spec and appears OK. Regards Lentils
