I seem to have bought another bike. This time it's a Supermoto wannabe. Needs a new speedo case and new tyres. Tyres are on the way (208 quid!!! Metzelers), but the speedo seems to be.... "Difficult" to find. The brake discs are also looking rather worn. BUT it has an MOT, it starts on the button, and it actually sounds pretty good! I want to junk the EGR system on this and the KAM, so I'm investigating how to do it (They're both Euro 3, but the Kam is the OHV 156FMI and the Keeway is the 157FMI OHC).
Brake discs off something will work, just measure bolt fixings and diameter, the egr just need's blanking off at the cylinder head. And remember the M.O.T only means it was ok on the day it was tested !
Well, it took long enough but I have it "Good Enough" to ride. It's quite torquey with the Black Widow zorst, but it's running rich AF, probably because it has a stock airbox now rather than the grotty cone that was on it. Just waiting for the replacement headlamp assembly then I can use it all the time.
